Elements of a College Essay Writing Rubric
Elements of a College Essay Writing RubricA college essay writing rubric is an important component in getting your essay off the ground. Though writing an essay isn't rocket science, you want to make sure that you are using a few basics to make sure that you get it done the right way. You want to follow the rubric that is given by your professor so that you can make sure that your essay is an accurate reflection of your personality and knowledge. There are five basic elements to keep in mind as you work on your essay writing process. The first element that you need to keep in mind when you write an essay is your point of view. For this you want to make sure that you are expressing yourself in the best possible way and that you are having a clearly defined opinion on the subject at hand. If you are writing an essay about a person, you want to be sure that you have identified who that person is. For example, if you are writing an essay about your brother, then you want to put who your b rother is in the essay. Knowing your brother will help you to express yourself correctly and in a clear way.Another thing that you need to make sure that you do when you are writing an essay is research. This means that you need to spend time looking up information on the topic that you are writing about. When you are writing a college essay, this can take up a lot of your time but you want to make sure that you spend enough time doing it. This can be very overwhelming to a lot of people, especially if they aren't sure how to start the research process. However, if you use the proper tools and information to help you with your research, then you should find that you can get the research done in a timely manner. The third thing that you need to keep in mind when you are writing an essay is the main body of the essay. This means that you want to know everything that you need to know about the topic. This may mean reading a book or a newspaper article on the topic. Either way, you want to make sure that you are staying as close to the facts as possible. The fourth element that you need to keep in mind when you are writing an essay is content analysis. This means that you want to look at what the professor has said so far and then make sure that you write about the same points that he has. Though this may be a little more difficult than the other elements, you want to make sure that you get this one right. Remember, if you get this one wrong, then it may not even count as an essay. The fifth element that you need to keep in mind when you are writing an essay is to make sure that you do proofreading. This can be difficult because you don't want to miss anything and you don't want to leave anything out. However, you also don't want to leave anything out that was clearly relevant to the content of the essay. Proofreading is vital to making sure that you understand what the professor has written and that you are taking his ideas into account. The sixth element that you ne ed to keep in mind when you are writing an essay is that the research is the main focus of the essay. If you read a book or newspaper article and then write about it, you want to make sure that you both express yourself correctly. For example, if you read an article about the horrors of communism and then use that information to explain your own political views, then you want to make sure that you express yourself correctly in this case. If you do this, then you can ensure that your professor sees the connection between the two points and makes a connection between them.Lastly, you want to make sure that you put your best foot forward. If you know what your professor expects and you get it done for him, then you have done well.
